About the role
Mumara is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Sales Manager with a minimum of 5+ years of professional SaaS, technology, email marketing, or B2B software sales experience to lead our sales growth and expand our presence across local and international markets.
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the complete B2B sales lifecycle, building a high-quality pipeline, closing high-value accounts, strengthening customer relationships, and leading the sales team toward ambitious revenue targets.
The ideal candidate understands SaaS sales, email marketing platforms, marketing automation, enterprise software, cloud solutions, and digital marketing ecosystems. You should be confident communicating with founders, CMOs, CTOs, marketing teams, agencies, enterprises, resellers, and other senior decision-makers.
You will play a key role in positioning Mumara as a powerful email marketing and email infrastructure solution for businesses looking for scalable automation, campaign management, advanced deliverability, transactional email, integrations, analytics, and growth.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Manage and lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to product demonstration, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and account expansion.
- Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified B2B, SaaS, enterprise, agency, reseller, and technology prospects.
- Identify new business opportunities across Pakistan, Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets.
- Sell Mumara's SaaS, managed, self-hosted, email marketing, automation, and email infrastructure solutions.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations, discovery meetings, technical discussions, proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Understand prospective customers' email volume, automation, deliverability, infrastructure, integration, compliance, and scalability requirements.
- Position Mumara's capabilities including email broadcasts, drip campaigns, marketing automation, segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, transactional email, APIs, webhooks, analytics, dedicated IPs, sending infrastructure, and AI-powered email creation.
- Develop account-specific sales strategies for SMB, mid-market, enterprise, agencies, hosting providers, and high-volume email senders.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, founders, marketing executives, CTOs, CMOs, agencies, resellers, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Lead contract discussions, pricing negotiations, commercial proposals, renewals, upgrades, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Create accurate sales forecasts and maintain visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, deal velocity, and expected revenue.
- Track and improve key sales KPIs including qualified opportunities, win rate, average deal value, recurring revenue, retention, upselling, and sales-cycle duration.
- Coach, mentor, train, and motivate Sales Executives and Business Development team members.
- Establish structured sales processes, qualification frameworks, follow-up standards, and CRM discipline.
- Review team performance and provide regular feedback, coaching, and development plans.
- Work closely with marketing to improve lead generation, campaign targeting, sales collateral, product positioning, events, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, technical, customer success, support, onboarding, finance, and management teams throughout the customer journey.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify emerging requirements, competitive threats, pricing opportunities, and product improvements.
- Analyze competitors across SaaS email marketing, marketing automation, email infrastructure, and transactional email markets.
- Represent Mumara at business events, exhibitions, conferences, technology meetups, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Develop strategic partnerships with agencies, technology companies, hosting providers, affiliates, resellers, and channel partners.
- Build predictable recurring revenue through new customer acquisition, account expansion, renewals, and long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain professional and accurate CRM records for opportunities, contacts, activities, proposals, forecasts, and closed business.
- Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, performance dashboards, and management presentations.
- Continuously improve the sales process using performance data, customer insights, market trends, and conversion analytics.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5+ years of proven SaaS, technology, software, B2B, email marketing, or digital solutions sales experience.
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Enterprise Sales Manager, or similar commercial role.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue and sales targets.
- Strong understanding of SaaS subscription models, software licensing, recurring revenue, customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and account expansion.
- Experience selling email marketing, marketing automation, CRM, cloud, hosting, digital marketing, MarTech, AdTech, or related technology solutions is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of email marketing fundamentals including campaigns, automation, segmentation, personalization, analytics, deliverability, transactional email, APIs, and integrations.
- Ability to understand technical concepts such as SMTP, APIs, webhooks, dedicated IPs, sending infrastructure, email deliverability, DNS authentication, and large-scale email operations.
- Strong B2B prospecting, lead qualification, discovery, presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Experience selling to SMB, mid-market, enterprise, agencies, resellers, and international customers.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience coaching and managing sales teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confident in presenting to founders, directors, CMOs, CTOs, CEOs, marketing leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to negotiate profitable agreements.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales metrics, pipeline data, forecasts, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales automation tools, lead management platforms, LinkedIn prospecting, and modern sales technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven, technology-focused environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of revenue targets.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify business needs and translate them into value-based solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative approach to selling.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- MBA or professional sales/marketing certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working with international clients and global markets is highly desirable.
- Existing relationships within SaaS, digital agencies, hosting, MarTech, email marketing, or technology industries would be a strong plus.
